About Veridium
An independent consultancy, built around practical experience
Veridium Compliance was founded to give organisations a more flexible way to access experienced KYC, KYB and financial crime compliance support — without the overhead of a large advisory firm or the commitment of another permanent hire.
Founder
Jason O'Neill
Jason founded Veridium Compliance to bring hands-on KYC, KYB and financial crime compliance experience to organisations that need additional expertise on flexible terms.
His background spans professional services and financial institutions, working on KYC/KYB onboarding, customer and business risk assessment, sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening, remediation projects, quality review, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
This experience has been gained through roles and projects at organisations including PwC, FinTrU, Morgan Stanley and Gold Standard. These references describe prior professional experience only; none of these organisations endorse, employ, partner with, or are clients of Veridium Compliance.
- PwC Financial crime and compliance advisory work, including KYC/KYB and due diligence review.
- FinTrU KYC/KYB onboarding, file review and compliance operations for financial services clients.
- Morgan Stanley Client onboarding and due diligence work within a global financial institution.
- Gold Standard Risk assessment and due diligence experience within a certification and standards context.
Approach
How Veridium approaches an engagement
Direct, hands-on involvement
Veridium is founder-led. Work is carried out directly, with full visibility of your files, processes and requirements — not delegated down a chain of junior reviewers.
Proportionate, well-evidenced work
Findings, recommendations and file reviews are documented clearly, so they hold up under internal quality review, audit, or regulatory scrutiny.
Veridium Compliance is an independent compliance consultancy. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, is not a financial regulator or supervisory authority, is not a certification or accreditation body, and is not an authorised financial adviser. Organisations should seek appropriate legal, regulatory or financial advice where required.
